David 201-420-3311 (Direct) Hudson River Corporation's premier product, The Lavatory Dump Hopper, also known as the Toilet Dump Hopper, was originally designed and sold to Greyhound when the intercity bus companies started to equip buses with restrooms. The holding tank under the restroom toilets needs to be emptied upon return to the garage. the Lavatory Hopper is installed at the garage to allow the bus holding tank to be emptied easily and quickly. It is now accepted that all over the road motorcoaches are restroom equipped and therefore need a safe and legal place to empty the holding tank. This is a very durable, stainless and galvanized steel constructed unit that is permanently installed wherever buses or recreational vehicles need their lavatory waste tanks emptied. The Lavatory Hopper connects to a sewer or septic system as well as a clean water supply for flushing purposes. The complete unit includes the heavy-duty cover plate and removal tool as well as the stainless steel basket to prevent non-sewer waste from going down the drain. The toilet waste hopper with flushing ring is approximately 29” wide, 41” long and the unit is 22.5” deep. The unit is very heavy-duty, as it’s intended to be driven over by heavy buses and other vehicles when properly installed. The unit as shipped is ready for installation and your contractor can easily install the unit connecting to your existing sewer system.
